returns

we’re confident you’ll love your adwoa beauty purchase. but if not, please initiate a return here within 14 days of receiving your order. to be eligible for return, the item(s) must be unopened and unused.

please pack items securely to ensure they arrive in good condition. *you will be responsible for the return shipping*

we issue refunds (minus Route package protection fee + any shipping fee that was originally covered by us) to your original payment method within 10 days of receipt of the returned items.

sale items are final sale - no returns or exchanges allowed.

canceling an order
if you need to update or cancel your order, please email us at hello@adwoabeauty.com as soon as possible. our fulfillment department processes all orders expeditiously. once orders are fulfilled and shipped, they cannot be changed/canceled.

order shipment timelines

all orders for in-stock merchandise placed on weekdays are usually processed for shipment within three (3) business days. although we do our best, adwoa beauty cannot guarantee any specific processing time, and processing times may vary in the event of natural disaster, inclement weather or peak periods.

if your order is processed after 2 pm CST, it may be picked up by one of our carriers on the next business day. please note: due to high volumes during a sale period, or high demand, orders may take 5+ business days to be fulfilled.

orders are processed for shipping monday - friday and we are closed on saturday + sunday. please note that processing time does NOT include the shipping timeframe. if you select an expedited shipping method, that time starts once the order is shipped, not when the order is placed.

promotional offers

promotional offers cannot be applied to previously placed orders or to orders placed after the expiration date of the promotion. we reserve the right to cancel any order due to unauthorized, altered or ineligible use of an offer and to modify or cancel any promotion due to system error or unforeseen problems. ongoing offers are subject to change without notice. other restrictions may apply.

damaged/incorrect/missing items

if your order contains insurance through our vendor, Route Package Protection, all claims must be filed through Route for replacement orders due to damage or missing packages.

to report defective/incorrect items, please email photos of the issue in the original packaging and shipping box to hello@adwoabeauty.com along with your order #. this is a necessary step for our claims process.

if your order is missing or lost, your first step would be to contact your mail carrier. also if you live in an apartment community, please double check your leasing/mail office to see if the package was delivered there. once packages have been turned over to the carrier we only have access to the same delivery information that you see on your end.

please contact us no later than 5 days from your order date to notify us of the package in transit, otherwise your order will be forfeited.

adwoa beauty is not responsible for stolen packages delivered by our mail carrier. please choose a secure location to have your package delivered. alternatively, once your order has been shipped, you can re-route the package to the carrier's (FedEx/USPS) nearest location to you, and pick up from there. you can do so by creating a free account on the carrier's website.
where does adwoa beauty® ship
adwoa beauty® currently ships internationally.

adwoa beauty® domestic orders that are shipped to personal or business addresses do not require a signature for delivery unless specifically requested.

adwoa beauty® international orders DO NOT include duties or taxes. all customs fees on shipment are the customer's responsibility. international shipments returned will be subjected to full shipping fees + a 20% restocking fee. if items are damaged or abandoned by the customer, any monies paid will be forfeited and no refund will become due.
shipping restrictions
certain destinations are only serviced by select shipping methods. depending on the shipping address you specify, you will only be offered shipping method options that are valid for that address type.
carrier packages showing delivered, but not received
it is not unusual for carriers to mark packages as delivered prior to actual delivery. we understand that this can be frustrating, however your first step would be to contact your mail carrier and/or local post office to assist in locating your package.
packages returned to us for incorrect address or marked undeliverable/refused by recipient
if a package is returned as undeliverable, you will be issued a refund minus shipping charges and a 20% restocking fee unless other arrangements are made and agreed upon by us.

if a package is returned as because an incorrect address was entered, we may attempt to reach out and obtain the corrected address. please note that you will be responsible for the reshipment fee of your order at the whole rate of the carrier, unless other arrangements are made and agreed upon by us.

your order status can be viewed on the account page (if you have one set up). your status begins to update when your payment is received for your order and subsequent updates once your order ships. updates are tracked and sent per below:

order confirmation - sent when the customer places an order

order fulfilled - sent when we mark the order as fulfilled and ship with one of our carriers

order shipped - sent when our carrier has picked up the item and began scanning for tracking purposes. please note: orders are picked up daily and are not always scanned right away by the carrier, this does not mean your order is not in the delivery process. sometimes these notifications all come on the same day.

order delivered - sent when an order with a tracking number gets delivered to your destination.

please note: if you receive a delivery notification but have not received your package, please contact the carrier (first) right away and initiate an investigation with them directly. next, email us @ hello@adwoabeauty.com with your claim # for our team to follow up.

we will ship orders to the address you submit to us. please ensure the address is correct or email us @ hello@adwoabeauty.com to update. we will not be responsible for missing or misdirected packages that was delivered to the address provided.

adwoa beauty is not liable for stolen packages once delivered. please make sure your packages are shipped to a secure location or utilize our carrier's local office for pickup.
